Best Day Ever with Leaky Shed Designs

Welcome to the Leaky Shed blog!  We are so happy you are here.  Its Cathy hosting the blog today and I have a layout to share with you using two of Leaky Sheds gorgeous chipboard designs. I love that Leaky Sheds designs are easy to layer...something us scrapbookers love.  I chalked the Large Ring Frame with grey and black chalk and then add just a bit of water to my applicator to blend.  The frame was the perfect accent and additional layer to put behind my photo.  Love the intricate designs of this frame. It added   interest and detail to the layout. 
Next, I chalked the new Fern flourish with gold chalk and blended just a bit with water too!  All I had to do was wait for it to dry and layer over my photo.

heres a few images of my first afternoon working on the shed.. ill be continuing tomorrow. the gallery will be open wednesday 28th-saturday 31st from 12 noon-5pm. there will be a doodle party/private view on friday (30th) from 5:30pm-7:30pm which will involve cake, snacks, a doodle wall and a chance to see what ive drawn on the shed. more info about the doodle party can be found here. hope to see you there!

heart and home Mothers Day Leaky Shed Studio

Ive been contemplating a home/family themed mini album--wouldnt that be a fine thing for Mothers Day?  Leaky Shed Studio has a delightful assortment of chipboard perfect for a home/family themed project;  here are some Ive been considering incorporating:

Love this rocking chair.  Youll find it in the New Born section in the Leaky Shed Store, along with an adorable Baby Carriage,,Baby Crib, and Rocking Horse. However, when I think of a rocking chair, I also think of sitting out on a front porch visiting, or quilting--so many possibilities!

The same with this super cute Vintage Bike:

Bicycles always make me think of home, and children, but maybe thats just me--there are plenty of other possibilities . . .

(Even more cute, with a little color!)

When I see an adult on a bicycle, I do not despair for the future of the 

human race.
