Back To School With Leaky Shed Studio and Veronica | Hunting shed plans free

Back To School With Leaky Shed Studio and Veronica

Hi, Veronica here today to share my "Back To School" project.  I am a big user of "To Do" list but I also want to have something pretty to write on.  So here is my solution.

I altered the Leaky Shed Studio clipboard!

I also used the Leaky Shed Studio Key #3 chipboard

The Key to Success!

First I inked with brown chalk ink, then I sprayed with mist.  Next I clear embossed and finished it off with black ink.  Love the bubbles in the key.  Use extra heat to get those.

I always finish the backs of my projects.  I want it to be pretty everywhere :)

Thank you for stopping by today, and remember to try out Leaky Shed Studio for any project.

Mixed Media Layout for the Leaky Shed Studio BoBunny Product Swap by Tracey Sabella | Horse shed plans free

Mixed Media Layout for the Leaky Shed Studio BoBunny Product Swap by Tracey Sabella

Hello Leaky Shed Studio fans.
Its the first post for our product swap with BoBunny.

Its Tracey here to share a layout I created with Leaky Shed Studio Snowflakes and Snowflake Border Chipboard paired with the BoBunny Christmas Collage Collection. I had so much fun working with these gorgeous products. Although this paper is designed as a Christmas collection, some of the pages lend themselves beautifully to other uses like this wintry page.

"December Snow"

Tips and Techniques
Ive clustered gorgeous BoBunny Daisy and Bouquet flowers, jewels, buttons, trinkets, lace, stickers, and layered chipboard along with handcrafted twine flowers around my snowflake photo. For a wintry feel, Ive brushed and dabbed white crackle paint over the elements.

Heres another view.

One of Leaky Shed Studios new release pieces is this gorgeous Snowflake Border (Small).  Ive simply dabbed it with BoBunny Gold Glitter Paste, leaving bits of the bare chipboard peeking through. Ive added a Mocha BoBunny Jewel to the center of each flake.

My title uses the BoBunny Combo Stickers. The letters are close in color to my background, so I adhered them then lightly sanded to help them pop. The green flourish behind the snowflakes is also from the the Christmas Collage Combo Sticker sheet.

Above the photo Ive clustered one of my handcrafted twine flowers centered with a BoBunny snowflake button and one of the Leaky Shed Studio Snowflakes from the Six Snowflakes set. I edged the photo with white crackle paint for a snowy effect.

One more snowy cluster.
A tutorial for my twine flower can be found HERE.

I used one of the tags from the Decoupage page and cut more flags from paper scraps for my banner. I dry brushed the banner with gesso. Above the tags is a piece of BoBunny lace dabbed with Gold Glitter Paste and Crackle Paint.

In the center of the page and under the title, I spritzed BoBunny Bronze Glimmer Spray. Since it is a winter page, I wanted to lighten it just a bit, so stamped the background using BoBunnys It is Written and Stained Textures stamp sets. I then heat embossed using Shabby White Embossing Enamel by Fran-tage.

More texture is added by splattering with white and green drawing ink. Ive scattered some of the BoBunny Mocha Jewels around the page along with another of the Leaky Shed Studio Snowflakes.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
I hope you have been inspired to create a layout combining

Naked Leaky Shed Studio Veronica Johnson | Horse loafing shed plans free

Naked Leaky Shed Studio Veronica Johnson

Hi Veronica here today to share with you some Naked chipboard flowers.  Did I get your attention?  Good :)  I wanted to show you today that you do not always have to alter your chipboard.  They are perfectly cut to show the utmost detail and look pretty just as they are.

I used these beautiful Springtime Flowers and what is clearly one of my favorites the watch parts.

Notice the fine detail in the chipboard.  I wanted to make some natural, rustic tags.  At least that is what I had in mind when I started.  I knew I wanted to add burlap and fabric, then I added some lace and the whole look changed.

By adding the lace - I felt my tag was more "shabby", so I went with it and added flowers, jewels and of course some white paint.

I was in the "zone" so I went ahead and made a second tag with the same color scheme; except this time pronounced the yellow rather than the green.

Thank you for stopping by today, and remember to try out Leaky Shed Studio.

Music Box Card with Leaky Shed Studio Swirl | Run in shed plans free

Music Box Card with Leaky Shed Studio Swirl

Hi, Veronica here today to share with you a lovely Pop Up Box Card.  Apparently these beautiful and crafty cards have been around, but I never knew about them!  I guess because I tend to do albums I dont really look at cards though I do make cards occasionally.

I was hanging out with my girlfriend, she and I always do a weekly crop and show & tell.  Anyway she brought over a beautiful steam punk-ish pop up card she made and I thought it was awesome.  She found the tutorial on Split Coast Stampers. Click the link and Dina will walk you through.  You should try one, they are so fun and easy to make.

Well instead of using a lot of stamped images I decided to use the Leaky Shed Studio awesome laser cut chipboard.

I had some musical notes chipboard on hand and thought it would be great to use them as a birthday themed card.  Cant you just hear it!  Happy Birthday To You ... Happy Birthday To You.  This card can be for both male and female.

I decided to add a beautiful Swirl Vine which I cut into pieces and then I embossed them in Silver embossing powder.

Doesnt it look like confetti popping out of the card.  I also wanted of course to use my musical notes which is where I got my inspiration from.

Musical Notes (518)

I used a slightly different technique on my Musical Notes because I wanted them to look more like real metal.  My steps were:

1.  Paint the LSS chipboard black with acrylic paint
2.  Emboss with silver embossing powder
3.  Emboss with clear embossing powder

By embossing the Leaky Shed Studio chipboard a third time the paint from the bottom starts to bubble to the surface and that is where you get the flecks of black showing through.

I hope you enjoyed my Pop Up Box Card today, I will definitely be making more of these.  Thank you for stopping by and letting me share with you.

Happy Scrapping ... Veronica (kitsnbitscraps)
